Whilton Mill FastR Round One

First race of the season @whiltonmillltd Round 1

With a big grid of 45 karts I showed great pace throughout the weekend with mixed grid heats, only a tenth off fastest lap in heat 2 and 4th fastest on track

Heat 1 10th to 9th Heat 2 12th to 8th Heat 3 24th to 17th

With great heats this put me 11th for the A final.

Final 11th to 26th, had a good start but went wide into Xmas corner that hung me out to dry and allowed a train to pass…rookie mistake.

On the final lap another driver decided to made a dangerous move that was never going to work sending me and another kart airborne into each other resulting in a bent chassis and axel and having to limp the kart to the …not how I wanted to finish a positive weekend.
